PT Kawasan Industri Medan (KIM) is a State-Owned Enterprise (SOE) engaged in industrial estate management services since its establishment on October 7, 1988. This industrial estate is strategically located in North Sumatra and currently manages a land area of 1,000 hectares with an occupancy rate of 72%.
KIM’s strength lies in the development of a Sustainable Integrated Eco-Industrial Ecosystem that focuses on the Crude Palm Oil (CPO) industry and its derivatives. With this ecosystem, KIM acts as a sustainable industrial center that supports the supply chain and added value for the oil palm plantation and processing sector in Indonesia.
As part of the Danareksa SOE Holding, PT Kawasan Industri Medan’s share ownership is divided between the Government of the Republic of Indonesia through one share of Series A Dwiwarna, PT Danareksa (Persero) by 59.99%, North Sumatra Provincial Government by 30%, and Medan City Government by 10%.
